Who is Jellybinzky?

Hello, my name is Elly Pagán. I was born and raised in San Germán, Puerto Rico. Growing up was not easy. My family and I were always moving back and forth from PR to the states. Then, we finally settled in Atlanta,GA. where I graduated High School, then I attended college at The Inter-American University Of Puerto Rico. Finished college in 3 years with a BA in Graphic Arts and an Associate’s Degree in Photography.

After college, I decided to move back to Georgia. I went through many different jobs, from waiting tables to retail, cleaning houses to veterinary assistant. Right now, I am a single mother, working in the medical industry. In 2018 I decided to open my Artist IG and try different art medias for everyone to see. My goal as an artist is to make everybody feel included, especially my Latinx community. Also, to educate the rest of the world about Hispanic/Latinx heritage and culture, mainly from Puerto Rico. I like to incorporate Spanish wording and Hispanic culture to my art.

We, latinx and hispanos have also struggled and thrived just like the rest of the world. Some families have suffered more than others just to get here. I want all my gente to know that they are not alone. Everybody has their story and everybody is going through something, so when they see my art, I want them to know and feel like they are included and not forgotten. Loved and not rejected.
